This privacy notice disclose the privacy practices for Mortgage Express, LLC. Below is information explaining how Mortgage Express, LLC collects, uses and protects or your personal information.

WHY  Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing.  Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share and protect your personal information.  Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.

MORTGAGE EXPRESS MAY SHARE YOUR INFORMATION IN THE FOLLOWING CAPACITIES:

• For our everyday business purposes, such as to process your transactions, maintain your account(s), respond to court orders and legal investigations or report to credit bureaus.

• For joint marketing with financial companies

• For our affiliates' everyday business purposes such as information about your transactions, experiences and credit worthiness.

• For nonaffiliates to market to you

How does Mortgage Express protect my personal information?  

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information, your information is protected both online and offline from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards of the computers/servers on which we store personally indtifialbe information. These computers/servers are kept in a secure environment. We use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who have a legitimate business purpose are granted access to personally identifiable information and we train employees on data security and confidentiality.

How does Mortgage Express collect my personal information?  We collect your personal information, for example, when you:

• Apply for a home loan
• Give us your income information or your contact information
• Provide employment information
• OR We also collect your personal information from other sources, such as credit bureaus, affiliates or other companies).

Why can't I limit all sharing?  Federal law gives you the right to limit only:

• Sharing information about your creidt worthieness with our affiliates for everyday business purposes
• Sharing your personal information with our affiliates in order to market to you
• Sharing your personal information with non-affiliates in order to market to you

What happens when I limit sharing for an account that I hold jointly with another person?  Your choices will apply to everyone on your account - unless you tell us otherwise.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time. If we decide to make material changes to our PRivacy Policy, we will make preasonable efforts to notify you of the changes by sending a notice to the primary email address provided to us and/or by placing a notice on our Website.

  • Mortgage Express, LLC has no affiliates.
• Non-Affiliates  Companies not related by common ownership or control (these can be financial or non-financial companies). 
  • Examples:  Credit Bureaus, Title Companies, Insurance Agencies 
• Joint Marketing  A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that market financial products or services together directly to you. 
  • Mortgage Express, LLC does not utilize Joint Marketing.

 

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS  

Under California Law, we will not share information that we collect about you with companies outside of Mortgage Express unless the law allows.  For example, we may share information with your consent in order to service your accounts.  We will limit sharing among your companies to the extent required by California State Law.

DO NOT CALL POLICY 

This Privacy Policy constitutes Mortgage Express, LLC.'s Do Not Call Policy under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act for all consumers.  Mortgage Express, LLC. maintains an internal Do Not Call preference list.  Do Not Call requests are honored within 30 days and will be effective for at least five years from the date of request.  No telemarketing calls will be made to residential or cellular phone numbers that appear on the Mortgage Express Do Not Call List.

OUR POLICY CONCERNING CHILDREN

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 through our website. If we become aware that a childe uner 13 has provided us with personal information through our website, we will take steps to delete such information.

HOW TO ACCESS AND UPDATE YOUR INFORMATION

You can access and update the information that you have provided as follows:

• If you are a current customer you can access and update certain personal information in connection with your account or application by logging into your account online
• You may contact us at 503-520-1141 and request to review, amend or delete certain personal information collected by us.
  • Please note that we may not be able to delete all information we collect through our Website.
• You may opt-out of receiving marketing emails at any time by following the steps to "unsubscribe" described in the footer of our marketing emails. Your opt-out will become effective in 10 days or less.
